Denver Downs Fall Festival opens at Denver Downs Farm in Anderson, offering over 30 family-friendly activities (giant jumping pillow, mega slide, ropes course, duck races) from Friday, Sept.
25 to Sunday, Sept. 27 (tickets cost $25.95 online, $29.95 at gate).
On Wednesday, Sept. 23, Food Lion employees packed 2,000 boxes of food at Second Harvest Food Bank’s facility in Williamston to aid families facing food insecurity in Anderson and surrounding counties.
The boxes include a variety of canned goods distributed through local agencies.

Anderson County is upgrading the unused William A.
Floyd Amphitheater to attract more concerts by improving seating configurations + officials expect performances to begin in April or May 2027.

Some South Carolina retailers may have received over 160k pounds of raw pork, beef, and goat products from the A&D Foods brand recalled after missing proper USDA inspection marks—consumers are urged to dispose of any recalled product and not to eat it.
